FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Shocking Beyond Belief Films, the Sword of Truth behind the Shield of Entertainment, announces the world premiere of its latest film, Here Come the Brides!, Saturday, November 12, at the Bug Theatre, 3654 Navajo Street in Denver. Two screenings are scheduled, 7 and 9 p.m. Tickets will be available for $7 at the theatre’s box office on the evening of the premiere. Here Come the Brides! is a jaw-dropping exposé of a ripped-from-the-headlines subject - gay marriage! The 50-minute movie tells the story of a young couple who enter the forbidden netherworld of homosexual unions, a journey that leads to sin, madness, and eventually death! “It’s gay marriage meets Reefer Madness,” explains director John Aden. “We’ve taken the format of the scare films of the ‘30s, ‘40s, and ‘50s into this new millennium and inserted today’s hot-button issue of same-sex unions.” The November 12 screenings will also feature some of the attributes of small-town Main Street exploitation film exhibitions. “Dr. Franklin Grimes, an expert, will speak to the moviegoers about this vital issue,” says Mr. Aden. “We will also have a registered nurse on hand in the event that someone finds this explosive portrayal of gay marriage too disturbing.” Pregnant women and individuals of weak constitution are cautioned to attend only after consulting with a physician. Here Come the Brides! stars some of Denver’s most celebrated actors. Bevin Antea, Jonathan E. Brown, Emily Paton Davies, Warren Sherrill, Ricardo Salazar, Carolyn Valentine, and Gina Wencel bring this uncompromising story to soul-shattering life! |
