SBB Films crashes Sundance
|
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Shocking Beyond Belief Films made a surprise, unannounced visit to America's most prestigious film festival, the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. SBB Films emissary Ellen K. Graham attended the festival at the invitation of distinguished New York City artist Karen Zasloff, who worked on the acclaimed documentary Banished. "Despite this 'in'," Graham clarifies, "I'm not a star-f*cker. I'm here to promote Here Come the Brides!" Graham went to numerous screenings and noted that while the films were generally thought-provoking, interesting, and well shot, not a single one featured a patent leather thong. "It really brings home the fact the no one else out there is telling the kind of stories SBB tells," Graham explains. What about the abundance of "free schwag" puportedly on tap for Sundance A-listers? "I decided to forgo the freebies in protest of the ubiquitous big-purse-tight-pants-furry-boots uniform of festival-goers," says Graham.
