FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Shocking Beyond Belief Films has completed principal photography on its newest film, Tearfully So. Based on a short story by Gina Wencel, Tearfully So tells the story of a hired gun who has had enough with the killings. Under the expert guidance of production designer Michael Raab, a majestic, 13-foot green screen was erected at the facilities of the LIDA Project in central Denver. Over 15 people had their "moment in the green" over the course of the 10-hour shoot. A slide show of the action is available at www.shockingbeyondbelief.com/tearlightbox.htm. "In Here Come the Brides!, I played a powerhouse marital counselor, " says actor Emily Paton Davies. "For this project, I play a blonde floozy in saucy attire who ends up dead in a pool of blood. Go figure." Two weeks later, the Skylark Lounge was the uber-hip setting for the smoke-filled bar scene, where Gino, played by Tom Borrillo, grapples with his conscience. Visual effects designer Will Blacklock laments missing the bar shoot, noting, "I love to operate the smoke machine." Director John Aden is very pleased with the rushes. "The green-screen footage is brilliant. The lighting and sound are leaps and bounds ahead of what we did with Brides! I really look forward to starting the editing process." |
